None of these are major differences though which makes either one great, and makes these two a great pair of replacement securities for tax-loss harvesting! I do not own international stocks in my portfolio and probably never will. I cringe a little when people say it out loud because it sounds a little conceited, but I really do believe the US is the best country in the world. You would be better served by adding a small amount of gold to your portfolio if you want additional diversification.
